From the Secretary's Desk

The train (Sequin-Level Line) has just pulled into the station for a brief stop to pick up supplies (newly installed Officers) and pick up new passengers (SL140 Members) who are going to continue the ride of their lives. The recent trip of the past 13 months has been some experience with all the stops (events) and pick-ups of new passengers (newly raised Brothers) to share our ideals and pleasures with service to others.

There have been some who have been claimed by the Grand Architect along the way and we do thank them for their loyalty and service over the years. They will be sorely missed.

Now, it is important that if you know of a worthy distressed Brother, one claimed by the GAotU, or one who has changed his address, please notify me, not the Master or your closest Brother. It’s imperative that I know firsthand so that the ball can get rolling in looking after these faithful brothers and to bring comfort to their families and keeping Grand Lodge updated as well.

The officers are now at their stations and the train is getting ready to continue riding the rails. All Aboard! Get your ticket (dues card) punched and climb aboard. We are heading out on another great journey that will bring us to new sights and we’ll pick up our Rainbows along the way as we promote Masonry and Brotherhood in the greater Hartford area.
