It was only yesterday, or so it seems, when I occupied the chair of a Steward. The memory of junior and senior deaconry is but a blur as the Masonic path lighted before me swept one year past my eyes to find myself alit thereon the station upon the first riser. And now a year as Junior Warden of by far the finest lodge upon this Earth has come to closing, and the Aeolian breath uproots me from the South to that station upon the second riser, where sets the Sun whene’er the Craft are brought to the end of their working day.
From the West I pledge good program within the temple, and I encourage each brother to participate in the life of the lodge, no matter how large or small that contribution may be. We have already begun this past Fall by filling with program and song those stated communications for which no degree or standing event had been scheduled. I thank WB Stephen Thal and RWB Bob Williams for outstanding programs in October and November respectively.
If you have a community program that you would like to see brought before the Craft for the brothers to see and possibly support, do not hesitate to bring the suggestion to the West, and we shall endeavor to make things happen.
Good program – good spirit – good ritual – good works.
For these we strive in our quest to grow the Craft and make good men ever better. With each small or large contribution of each brother who holds dear Sequin-Level as his Mother Lodge, I know that we shall together enjoy the finest of years.
With the blessings of Liberty upon us, gifted to us from our Masonic forefathers over the past three hundred years, may the great and good works which they wrought forth for the benefit of those of us who have followed in their aproned ways, together we shall do great things.
Yours in fraternity and egality.
Brother Steven Gorman
